District of Langford - Drainage Area 1
During the design and construction stage of the project the District received applications for development within the Sewer Specified Area, specifically along Millstream Road. It became apparent that in order to service these proposed developments a storm drain network was also required. Langford had a preliminary storm drain design in hand and eventually the final design was carried out by 1st Team Consulting Ltd. and constructed by Chew Construction under the design/build contract.
- Fast-tracked through design in order to be constructed concurrent with the sewer.
- 165m of 1050 concrete drain and 400m of 1200 concrete drain.
