Jacklin Road Upgrade - District of Langford
Through the design and construction, the roadway was transformed from a two-lane road with gravel shoulders (used as sidewalks) to a four-lane road with concrete curb and gutter, paving stone sidewalks and street and pedestrian lighting. Construction took place during 1999/2000.
- Upgrade of road from two-lane to four-lane with bike lanes.
- Added concrete curb and gutter and paving stone sidewalks.
- Replaced traffic signals at three intersections.
- Replaced Rail America (CPR) level Railway Crossing.
- Added ornamental lighting, streetlighting and landscaping.
- In-ground disposal of storm drainage.
